Newsvine recently developed compatibility with Google Adsense. It's worked well for a lot of us, but it needs to work well for everyone.

Several folks reported trouble registering - either that their AdSense accounts were reviewed and then rejected, or that they couldn't register for AdSense at all because domainname.newsvine.com wasn't a viable URL. Apologies - we know that's frustrating.

Here's the current solution:

• Register an account on Blogger, Google's blogging service, here.
• Apply for AdSense by following Google's instructions here.
• The application process can take up to a week.
• Once approved, follow the instructions outlined here and here.

We're working with Google on something more elegant and in-house for future set-uppers, but you'll only have to do this once.

UPDATE 1/10/2013 - AdSense ads weren't deploying in full - only one or none ads - for many folks. We've fixed that, with Google's help. Yay!
