Have you ever wondered what a McDonald's Happy Meal looks like after it's sat on a shelf (not in a freezer) for a year? This seems like one of those things I would learn accidentally, but writer Nonna Joann Bruso decided to find out on purpose.

The results? Not as disgusting as you might think, which itself is sort of

Gross.

Sorry for publishing to Foodies!. I had to.

Here's the original article's URL, but the whole site is down at the moment for me. That is foul.

McDonald's must be using one hell of a preservative in their foods.

Which makes me wonder, if I eat at McDonald's will I age at a slower rate than someone who doesn't?

Sorry to go off topic, but Newsvine won't let me clip ANY (I've tried repeatedly) articles to the Newsvine Community group that I belong to. What's wrong?

It also won't let me post any comments to any of my friend's homepage's.

That's what my sister said when I sent her this, although I think it was more ambitious and referenced immortality.

Odd. If these are your articles, can you try publishing to the group?

It also won't let me post any comments to any of my friend's homepage's.

In the user comments section? That could be broken. Submit a bug report here, and I'll tell tech, too.

It's kind of scary that we give stuff to our children that flies won't even touch.
